Change of course
Are you already enrolled at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences and would like to change to a different course at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences? Then you must note the following:
Changing to a course without restricted admission can be applied for at the Enrolments and Examination Office before the deadline for re-enrolment but at the latest up to four weeks after the start of semester (1 March/1 September).
Changing to the first semester of a restricted-admission course is done by assignment of a place in a selection to the first or higher semester procedure in accordance with the university admission regulations of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. That is, in this case you must apply in the usual manner by 15 July 2021 for the relevant by 15 January or 15 July course in the application portal of the University. With the application you must also provide your application for a change of course.
Changing to a more advanced semester of a course is done by applying for classification in a higher course semester.
Important to note
Upon application, assessment results from your previous course may be recognised for your new course. This may be beneficial for you if you would like to be classified in a higher semester. Please contact your examination board regarding this. More information is available here
It is essential that BAföG recipients seek advice from the contact person of the student union when changing their course.
