Application

Prospective students with foreign certificates must submit their application via the uni-assist online portal. Once the documents have been received, your application will be checked and you can track its status online. If your documents are complete, your application will be forwarded to the university, otherwise you can submit any missing documents.

The application deadlines are 31 December for the summer semester and 30 June for the winter semester. We recommend submitting your application early - at least 8 weeks before the deadline. Further details on the required documents can be found on the pages of the respective degree programme.

Procedure

Prospective students with foreign certificates must submit their application documents for a degree programme at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences via the ‘Arbeits- und Servicestelle für internationale Studienbewerbungen e.V.’ (uni-assist). Our university only accepts online applications via the

Online-Portal uni-assist

Further procedure after receipt of the application:

After your application, you have the opportunity to view the current status of your application in the uni-assist online portal. Please note that it may take several weeks for uni-assist to process your application. You will be informed of the result of the review by e-mail. There are two possible results of the formal check:

1. if your documents basically meet our requirements, uni-assist will forward your application to us. We will then decide whether you can receive a study place offer and inform you about all further steps.

2 If your documents are incomplete or do not meet our requirements, your application will not be forwarded to us. You have the opportunity to submit any missing documents within the application deadline.

Important to know:

Have you gained your Abitur or Fachhochschulreife at a German school abroad?

You will then be treated the same as German applicants and do not have to go through the application procedure via uni-assist. Please inform yourself here about the application process and deadlines at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences

Are you from a partner university?

Graduates from our partner universities worldwide who wish to obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree at our university should contact the International Office.
