Health Sciences
The field of study Health Sciences is offered in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern so far exclusively at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences.
With this postgraduate degree, you can qualify for a scientific position in the professional field of public health, health management, health promotion and management of health care facilities.
The M.Sc. degree also entitles graduates to a doctorate and enables them to enter the higher service.

For graduates of a bachelor's degree program in health or nursing sciences who would like to expand and supplement the interdisciplinary knowledge they acquired in their first degree program, we offer the master's program in health sciences.
Since the winter semester 2023/2024, the Master's program in Health Sciences has been carried out with an adapted curriculum: the anchoring of the subject content on health communication in the program and also the evidence-based approach as a topic and scientific method in a large number of modules have been strengthened, thus adapting the curriculum even further to national and international developments.
Students are enabled to assume specialized leadership and decision-making responsibilities in institutional multi- and interdisciplinary fields of work in institutions of the preventive, curative and rehabilitative care system and in living environments (prevention and health promotion).
The Master's program in Health Sciences is accredited.
