The Bachelor’s degree is preparation for independent employment in the social work or social studies fields. It offers all the advantages of an academically-based and applied pathway into a diverse profession. Graduates work in very different areas in social facilities, government agencies, services, projects, initiatives, etc. Depending on their job, they provide care, support and supervision but also carry out administrative, organisation and coordination tasks or take on educational and training roles.

The course is organised as a three-semester foundational course. This is then completed by the core competencies and specialisations (social work with children, adolescents and seniors; health, disease, disability; problematic social situations, social services) over an additional three semesters. During this period there are also two comprehensive practical modules. They assure continuous practical application of the theoretical material in the fields of practice of social work.
