Our third mission – University in the Region

Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences is a partner of the region when it comes to education, further education and regional and municipal development. We consider it our "third mission" to sustainably apply the generated knowledge to our environment. In the form of our activities and contacts "outwards", we offer a point of contact for citizens, companies, schools, communities and clubs in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. 

Together, we want to find the right answers to questions. We assume the roles as process companions, trainers and facilitators. We moderate or offer advice – depending on the requirements. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research describes us and supports us as an “innovative university”.
