The university account
You will receive your university account (user name and password) in the course of enrollment. You will receive the information about the university account to the e-mail address you provided during your application. In the e-mail you will find all the information you need to activate the university account and assign a password. With this account you can participate in e-Learning, use many online-services, use the IT technology supported by ZIMT in the PC Pools, query your university email address.

After enrollment, you will receive your university card at the Enrollment and Examination Office. This card is:
- Student ID card
- Library card
- Payment card for the canteen
- printing, copying, scanning card incl. payment function

The email-adress
You can find the mail address belonging to your university account via webmail or via an email client. Required data/information can be found here.
Shared (network) drives
Depending on the department and study program, you will be assigned different network drives at the computers in the PC pools. You will find information about the drives from your lecturer in the department or study program.
For the storage of your data you have your own, the home drive under h:\.

In e-Learning-System you will find course sections for your courses.
You will be informed about this by your instructors. In addition, there are areas for projects and for overarching topics.. Here you can get guidance and advice and find out how to solve common problems.
