Information on using Office 365 from a data protection perspective
Please note: The IT security officer and the data protection officer have not authorised or confirmed that the online functions of Office365 are safe to use. This does not necessarily apply to the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but rather and in particular to the online functions that involve the storage of data, e.g. OneDrive, Teams and OneNote. In this case, there is legal uncertainty.
You use these functions entirely at your own risk.

Security information - Warning about Outlook apps
The new free Outlook programme for Windows 10 and 11 and the Outlook apps for mobile devices (Android and iOS) should currently not be used!
These apps send login data (login name and password) to Microsoft, which in particular violates data protection regulations and the HSNB's user regulations. The new Outlook app ensures that all emails are sent to Microsoft for analysis. The use of the software is therefore extremely questionable for information security and data protection reasons.
